About Us:

Retallack Lodge provides the perfect setting for summer relaxation and adventure in the remote mountain wilderness high up in the Selkirk Mountains of BC, Canada. It's one of those out-of-the-way places that you'll never forget – complete with old growth forests, wildflower meadows and rushing rivers.

Located between the towns of New Denver and Kaslo Retallack Lodge is easily accessible from Highway 31A. Our timber frame lodge can accommodate 26 people in a number of different room configurations – we have 8 double/king rooms and 3 triple rooms – all of which have their own private bath. Our space is airy, bright and inviting and we encourage our guests to spread out and make themselves at home. Our fully licensed restaurant and bar provide a relaxed atmosphere from which to enjoy a great meal, great company and beautiful surroundings.

The lodge itself is a craftsman timber frame structure, boasting 10,000 square feet of warm turn-of-the century tradition offset with Tibetan detailing. The impressive living room is a great place to relax or read a book in front of the two story granite fireplace. For more unwinding we have a large patio-deck, games room (pool table & table tennis), sauna, and a media room with satellite TV.

Our season runs from the beginning of July until the end of September - Thursday to Sunday. Reservations are strongly recommended. We are also available for private functions throughout the summer and offer a variety of different service options ranging from the most basic to full service, complete with lodge staff, kitchen & dining staff, massage therapists and guides.

If adventure is what you are after – we have plenty of it. If you are eager to explore the mountains, we have a variety of hiking trails that lead right from our doorstep. The road system surrounding Retallack is a very popular bike route and there are many great stops along the way. Fishing, canoeing, kayaking and whitewater rafting are just some of other incredible summer activities to be enjoyed on either Kootenay or Slocan Lakes.
